Though the Dining Room is still beloved for the seafood and steak menus are complete with 12- and 16-ounce cuts, also shrimp de jonghe, scallops, salmon, each individually or as part of the seafood Combination. Porter County Aging & Community Services will host a presentation on “HEALTHY AGING” by Theresa Hansen, ACSW, LCSW, DCSW.  This program will discuss positive thinking and ways to keep your mind, body, and spirit in shape. Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County 28th Annual Golf Outing
Forest Park Golf Course, Valparaiso
This outing will benefit the more than 5,300 Porter County youth who are members Duneland, Portage, South Haven, and Valparaiso Boys & Girls Club plus the KidStop before and after school child care program. The event includes raffles, course betting opportunities and prizes plus lunch and dinner for all. Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available. Wings of Freedom Tour July 21-23
The Collings Foundation's "Wings of Freedom Tour" of the WWII B-17G Flying Fortress, B-24J Liberator, B-25J Mitchell and for the first time ever a TP-51C Mustang will offer rides and tours from 2 to 5 p.m. July 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22 and 10 a.m. to noon July 23 at the Porter County Municipal Airport Terminal, 4207 Murvihill Road. Tours cost $12 for adults and $6 for children. B-17 and B-24 rides are $425 donation per person, and B-25 rides are $325 or $400 donation per person depending on position.  P-51 flights are $2,200 for 30 minutes and $3,200 for 1 hour. All donations are tax deductible. Presentation on Alzheimer’s resources in Northwest Indiana

Porter County Aging & Community Services will host a presentation on the “Alzheimer’s Resources in Northwest Indiana.” Sarah Floyd, the Community Services Liaison for the Alzheimer’s Association, will discuss the resources available in Northwest Indiana through the Alzheimer’s Association and other agencies, how to know what type of help you need, and how the Association supports caregivers and people suffering from Alzheimer’s and related dementia.  This is a great program for seniors and/or caregivers for those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s.
